Responsibilities
Guide building and testing of scalable processes that can be executed at various points in time and across various levels of detail and databases
Systematically engineer smart data checks and processes throughout business units for both consistency and uniqueness
Institute data quality controls where most optimal in quarterly data timeline
Implement lean framework within team to support corporate lean and departmental initiatives
Offer creative best practice solutions that leverage technology and friendly end-user experiences
Support compilation of data for alternative risk transfer calculations and output for reporting
Liaise with various groups to ensure smooth implementation and rollout of new exhibits, calculations and processes
Reinforce execution of corporate data transformation initiatives
Education and Experience
5+ years of experience within an agile team building and testing software
Hands on experience and understanding of SQL, and SQL Server resources and ETL packages
Knowledge of data-driven processes and technologies
SSRS, PowerBI and MS Excel (advanced spreadsheet knowledge)
Problem solver
Perform in fast-paced, detail-oriented environment
Superior business acumen and familiarity working with insurance and financial data
Self-starter, can keep designs moving in absence of business partners
Work independently and with teams depending on tasks and project
Experience with Python; and with Tableau, Cognos or other BI visualization tools
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Actuarial Science, Data Science or equivalent preferred
Insurance and/or IT certifications

For individuals assigned or hired to work in California, Colorado, Hawaii, Jersey City, NJ; New York State; and/or Washington State, the base salary range is listed below. This range is as of the time of posting. Position is incentive eligible.
$129,500 - $201,066/year
Total individual compensation (base salary, short & long-term incentives) offered will take into account a number of factors including but not limited to geographic location, scope & responsibilities of the role, qualifications, talent availability & specialization as well as business needs. The above range may be modified in the future
