We are hiring a Cybersecurity GRC Trainee to support our governance, risk and compliance activities.
This is an excellent opportunity to learn and build skills in evaluating cybersecurity controls, conducting risk assessments, and promoting security improvements in a collaborative environment.
The role involves evaluating cybersecurity controls, assisting with risk management activities, fine-tuning security controls, handling and tracking GRC tickets/tasks, and ensuring follow-ups with appropriate divisions.
The candidate will contribute to enhancing our cybersecurity governance and compliance processes.
Key accountabilities:
• Evaluate trending cybersecurity controls, communication, awareness, risks and promote control measures.
• Critical analysis of existing security controls and promoting security improvements.
• Assisting with fine-tuning security controls.
• Assisting with risk management handling activities.
• Handle, track, review, and orchestrate the tickets/ tasks received by GRC.
• Ensuring that are followed up with the appropriate division / staff within InfoSec.
Required Skills:
- Degree in IT areas or similar - IEFP Level VI ;
- Knowledge about Information Security / ISO 27001
- Understanding of security best practices and guidelines (NIST, OWASP)
- Security industry certifications awareness such as CISSP, CISA, CRISC
Soft Skills:
- Good English written and verbal communications skills;
- Good organizational skills;
- Pro-active and sense of ownership;
- Be able to work well under pressure.
