What you will be doing:

As a Solutions and Software Operational Specialist you will be responsible for reporting and operational tasks with a focus on Software Solutions, Cloud Services, Connectivity, and Security.

This role is crucial for achieving operational excellence in Avnet Silica’s supplier relationships for Cloud Services and Embedded Software at all levels. Close alignment with the Sales, Finance and Supplier Management teams is required to optimize operational workflows.

The position ensures operational continuity while driving the modernization and automation of key processes. Leveraging advanced technical skills, the role transforms manual workflows into efficient, scalable, and automated solutions through the use of APIs, scripting, and AI technologies.

What you will be doing:

• Manage and optimize administrative and operational processes
• Automate manual workflows using APIs, scripts, and integration tools
• Manage monthly reporting tasks to the finance department for Microsoft and Trellix
• Handle Microsoft OEM contracts in SAP
• Perform monthly reporting for Microsoft Cloud Services
• Manage Microsoft Azure CSP1 perpetual licenses with key customers
• Process Trellix purchasing orders for key customers on a global scale
• Develop and improve relevant skills through self-learning and participation in training and conferences to position Avnet Silica as a best-in-class technology partner with customers and suppliers

What we're looking for:

• Commercial education
• 3 years of experience working in a busy, demanding, and pressured office environment with tight timelines
• Good all-round knowledge of the Silica business across departments
• Proficient in using MS Office; experience with SAP and Salesforce.com is a plus
• Proficiency in programming languages: Python, C#, PHP, JavaScript
• Experience with APIs, microservices, and modular architectures
• Knowledge of cloud platforms and database management (SQL/NoSQL)
• Ability to work in Agile environments and maintain clear documentation
• Strong problem-solving skills and proactive approach to process improvement
• Structured and process-oriented approach
• Very good reputation among sales teams
• Fluent in English
