Job Summary

Will use multimedia technology and authoring tools to design and develop human centered and interactive learning experiences that result in the successful transfer and application of knowledge, skills, and/or behaviors. The discipline of standard work will follow a system of designing a system of delivery, developing assets, and evaluating effectiveness. This role focuses on the design and development of eLearning and instructor lead courses in a wide area of subjects including leadership development and innovation curriculum.

Essential Functions

  • Content design and development, user experience design, technical development, and learning assessments and evaluations.
  • Shape content from abstract concepts, manage ideas from senior leadership along with research insights to make high impact learning resources that are aligned to learners needs and outcomes.
  • Develop measurable learning objectives and tie them to them to performance and/or business goals.
  • Develop scripts and storyboards to identify strong concepts that can be used in visualizing the instructional content and communicating strategy to SMEs and stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with stakeholder’s subject matter experts (SMEs) throughout the full design and development process to ensure a thorough understanding of subject matter, objectives and requirements, review cycles and communicate content of discussions clearly within the project team.
  • Create assessment and evaluation strategies aligned with learning objectives.
  • Review and test deliverables to ensure accuracy, completeness, compliance with standards, and consistency with the approved design before final delivery.
  • Analyzes, updates and refines existing content.
  • Assist in mentoring peer instructional designers and/or other members on the Learning team.

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor's Degree In Adult Education, Human Resources, Education Technology, Learning Technologies or related field
  • 7 years of relevant experience in designing, developing, and curating learning and performance that achieves business objectives

Preferred

  • Advanced instructional design skills, multimedia and technical skills.
  • Experience with graphic design and Adobe suite
  • Advanced level experience with Articulate Storyline
