Summary:
We are seeking an experienced SAP PP Consultant to support a large-scale Greenfield S/4HANA transformation program in the Build phase. The consultant will be responsible for configuring, developing, and validating Production Planning solutions aligned with approved business designs, ensuring high-quality delivery and seamless integration with other modules and systems..
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be Build & Configuration:
- Configure SAP S/4HANA PP processes based on finalized Business Blueprint / Detailed Design documents
- Set up core PP functionalities including: (Master Data (BOM, Work Centers, Routings/Recipes, Production Versions, MRP (MRP Live, planning strategies, lot sizing , Production Orders / Process Orders (PP-PI if applicable)
- Development & Enhancements:
- Work with technical teams on RICEFW objects (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms)
- Prepare functional specifications for WRICEF developments
- Support integration development with systems such as MES, LIMS & Planning tools
- Integration Management:
- Ensure seamless integration with QM, MM, PM, EWM
-Testing & Defect Resolution:
- Support Unit Testing, String Testing, and Integration Testing
- Prepare and execute test scripts
- Identify, analyze, and resolve defects within defined SLAs
- Collaborate with business users during UAT preparation
- Data & Migration Support:
- Validate production-related master and transactional data
- Support data migration activities (mock loads, reconciliation)
- Ensure data quality and consistency aligned with governance standards
- Documentation & Compliance:
- Maintain configuration documentation and solution design documents
- Ensure compliance with project governance and audit requirements
- Stakeholder Collaboration:
- Work closely with business SMEs, solution architects, and cross-functional teams
- Provide regular updates on progress, risks, and dependencies
- Support cutover planning and readiness activities
Professional & Technical Skills:
- 5–10+ years of SAP PP experience, including at least one S/4HANA implementation (preferably Greenfield)
- Strong expertise in MRP & Demand Planning integration, Production/Process Orders (PP / PP-PI), MDG
- Experience with S/4HANA-specific functionalities (e.g., MRP Live, Fiori apps)
- Integration experience with QM, MM, and external manufacturing systems (MES/LIMS)
- Exposure to ePP/DS (embedded PP/DS) is a strong plus
- Experience in chemical, pharma, or process industry is preferred
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in SAP PP Production Planning & Control Discrete Industries.
- Strong knowledge of production planning processes and discrete manufacturing principles.
- Experience in customizing and integrating SAP modules to optimize production workflows.
- Ability to analyze complex business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Familiarity with software development lifecycle and agile project management practices.
- Competence in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues within SAP environments.

- The candidate should have minimum 12 years of experience in SAP PP Production Planning & Control Discrete Industries.
- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
