The Product Specialist is accountable for achieving the Russia and CIS sales plan, participating in exhibitions and other company events, engaging with end users, preparing product specifications for the digital (IT) department’s portfolio, and ensuring timely, accurate, and precise data entry into the company’s internal CRM systems.
Job Description
The Product Sales Specialist is responsible for:
- Driving sales of digital IT department’s product portfolio
- Achieving assigned sales targets
- Preparing quotations in line with client/partner requests and technical requirements
- Ensuring the relevance and accuracy of planned transactions data in the CRM system
- Maintaining up‑to‑date, in‑depth knowledge of assigned products/solutions/services; able to present and discuss technology and clinical benefits in customer‑relevant terms
- Supporting the sales team in customer visits and event organization as needed
- Preparing information and documentation based on internal standards and product technical features
- Delivering product portfolio presentations to internal teams, partners, and end users
- Contributing to the development and maintenance of standard quotation and specification tools; ensuring specifications remain current in the quoting system
- Conducting sales performance analysis and forecasting jointly with Sales Managers, ensuring standard specification lists are regularly updated
- Performing technical feature analysis to confirm GEHC equipment meets purchasing documentation requirements (upon request from other modalities)
- Preparing equipment specifications for sales/purchase contracts, including details on registration certificates
- Collaborating closely with other departments and modalities
- Participating in LCT and modality operational mechanisms, including but not limited to deal reviews, QMI, etc.
- Managing SSA sales within the Installed Base
- Complying with all GEHC policies and ensuring full adherence
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a medical or IT field
- Strong sales, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Solid technical and clinical understanding
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines with accuracy and minimal supervision
- Ability to multi‑task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
- High level of precision, accuracy, and attention to detail
- Upper‑intermediate English proficiency (mandatory)
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Salesforce.com, and other GEHC CRM systems
- Strong analytical skills, including the ability to identify root causes, evaluate alternative solutions, and make fact‑based decisions quickly and effectively
