Job Summary:

We are hiring a Product Software Engineer II to support Model Evaluation & Engineering Systems within Foundations Engineering – AI Production Engineering. This role will focus on maintaining evaluation datasets, automating validation workflows, and supporting benchmarking systems for AI-powered services. You will work closely with Senior and Staff engineers to ensure evaluation processes are reproducible, scalable, and integrated into production release pipelines. This role provides hands-on exposure to AI quality engineering and structured model validation systems.

Responsibilities:

Dataset & Evaluation Support

• Maintain and expand structured evaluation datasets.

• Implement automation for dataset processing and validation.

• Support benchmarking workflows and evaluation harnesses. Quality & Automation

• Contribute to regression testing scripts and automation pipelines.

• Help integrate evaluation checks into CI/CD systems.

• Support documentation of model readiness and certification criteria. Engineering Execution

• Write backend components supporting evaluation workflows.

• Assist in monitoring and reporting quality metrics.

• Participate in debugging evaluation pipeline failures.

Basic Qualifications:

• 3+ years of software engineering experience.

• Strong proficiency in Python.

• Experience building backend services or data-processing systems.

• Familiarity with automated testing practices.

• Experience working in cloud environments.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Exposure to AI or model-based systems.

• Experience with dataset processing or validation workflows.

• Familiarity with CI/CD integration.

• Interest in AI quality engineering and evaluation systems.

Experience with:

• Backend service development or structured data processing systems.

• Automated testing and scripting frameworks.

• CI/CD workflows and pipeline integration.

Required Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field (Master’s preferred), or equivalent experience
