Our Team: Integrated Fulfilment

The Fulfilment team owns a diverse portfolio of store fulfilment of ecommerse to provide worlds biggest fulfilment system across countries. This system enables store associate for optimised picking , dispensing, staging and packing and shipping. Customers have options to pick up their orders from nearby store or get last mile delivered to their door step, in-home or through shipping via national carriers. The product is even commercialised and offered to multiple clients across countries.
 

Responsibilities Include:

• Primarily responsible for delivering high quality technical designs and code for the product requirements in a fast-paced agile scrum environment.
• Lead and participate in small to medium-scale projects by reviewing project requirements; translating requirements into technical solutions; gathering requested information (for example, design documents, product requirements, wire frames); writing and developing code; conducting unit testing; communicating status and issues to team members and stakeholders; collaborating with project team and cross functional teams; troubleshooting open issues and bug-fixes; ensuring on-time delivery and hand-offs; interacting with project manager to provide input on project plan; and providing leadership to the project team..
• Strive for continuous improvement in efficiency.
• Interact with Walmart engineering teams across geographies to leverage expertise and contribute to the tech community.
• Engage with Product Management and Business to drive the agenda, set your priorities and deliver awesome products.
• End to end ownership and commitment to deliver up to production and ensure high quality, un-compromised stability post go live with customer focus.
   

Qualification and Skills

You have and can implement big ideas with a positive attitude. You want to be a part of the team to disrupt this industry and you have these main skills:

• You hold a bachelor’s degree in computer science or related discipline with an experience of 2-5 years.  
• Possess strong computer science knowledge in algorithms, data structures, database concepts.
• Thorough knowledge of Service Oriented Architecture and experience implementing RESTFUL Web Services.
• Hands on in developing web applications using REST, Kafka Messaging, Java, Spring Boot, Micro-services, and SOA.
• 2 to 5 years of experience with Java , Spring framework, in building multi-threaded high performance scalable applications.
• Experience with any Cloud Computing platforms: Microsoft Azure, Google cloud or similar is must.
• Knowledge in Reactive programming Java will be given a plus.  
• Solid design and coding skills in Java and/or Spring framework.
• You be a plus if worked in the ecommerce/Retail systems software space.
• Experience building high-performance, highly available and scalable systems.
• Extensive hands-on experience building services using these technologies (Java, J2EE, Spring, Hibernate).
• Strong knowledge in data structures, SQL, No SQL technologies etc.

Nice to Have

• React Native , iOS or Android experience is a plus.
