JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
As a Managed Marketing & Email/SMS Specialist at Club Caddie, you will play a key role in helping golf course and simulator clients achieve their marketing goals through a blend of creative strategy, technical execution, and client training. This role combines Managed Marketing responsibilities—developing and executing tailored marketing campaigns across email, SMS, social media, and digital channels, with Email & SMS Platform Management via Club Caddie Marketing (Campaign Monitor), supporting client onboarding, training, and optimization.
You’ll collaborate with golf course operators to understand their objectives, create and deliver engaging content, manage automated marketing workflows, and analyze performance data to drive continuous improvement. Through consistent client engagement and expert platform guidance, you’ll enhance marketing effectiveness, improve retention, and support the growth of Club Caddie’s managed marketing and communication services.
Salary range for the role is between $65,000 - $75,000.

WHAT YOU’LL DO
As a Managed Marketing & Email/SMS Specialist at Club Caddie, you will oversee and implement comprehensive marketing strategies and campaigns for our golf course and simulator clients while also managing and supporting the company’s Email and SMS platform, Club Caddie Marketing (Campaign Monitor).
Your mission is to help our clients reach their marketing goals by leveraging Club Caddie’s managed marketing services and Club Caddie Marketing (Campaign Monitor) communication tools. You’ll collaborate with course operators to understand their business needs, develop tailored marketing plans, execute campaigns, and train clients to use our tools effectively.
This position is approximately 50% Managed Marketing and 50% Email & SMS Platform Management (% are subject to Change), blending creative strategy with technical execution and client enablement.
Managed Marketing Responsibilities
- Collaborate with golf course operators to understand their marketing goals, target audience, and communication needs.
- Develop comprehensive marketing strategies and plans that align with client objectives and leverage Club Caddie’s marketing solutions.
- Conduct monthly review meetings with clients to discuss performance, optimize campaigns, and plan upcoming events.
- Create compelling, on-brand content for email, SMS, social media, and digital campaigns that drive engagement and revenue.
- Oversee and coordinate the execution of integrated marketing campaigns across multiple channels.
- Utilize marketing automation tools to segment audiences, personalize communications, and automate workflows.
- Monitor and analyze campaign performance, tracking key metrics and providing regular reports and insights.
- Foster strong relationships with client golf courses, serving as a trusted marketing advisor.
- Contribute to the continuous development and improvement of Club Caddie’s managed marketing service offerings.
Email & SMS Marketing (Club Caddie Marketing - Campaign Monitor) Responsibilities
- Conduct live virtual training sessions for clients on Club Caddie Marketing (Campaign Monitor) (Email and SMS), supporting onboarding, adoption, and advanced feature utilization.
- Assist clients with account setup, audience segmentation, template design, and automated journeys.
- Monitor account performance, including deliverability, engagement rates, and contact growth—and flag opportunities for optimization or upgrade.
- Develop educational resources such as onboarding guides, FAQs, and short tutorial videos to improve client self-sufficiency.
- Create and customize branded email templates for new clients and design marketing materials that assist with contact list growth.
- Support onboarding and training for SMS clients, including opt-in growth strategies and subscriber management best practices.
- Track and maintain subscriber counts to ensure accurate billing and reporting.
- Collaborate with internal teams to align Club Caddie Marketing (Campaign Monitor) initiatives with broader Managed Marketing and client success goals.

- Complete in-depth training on Club Caddie’s software platform, marketing tools, and Club Caddie Marketing (Campaign Monitor).
- Work closely with clients to identify their goals and tailor marketing strategies that align with their brand and events.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, balancing strategic planning with tactical execution.
- Demonstrate excellent communication, writing, and presentation skills with clients and internal teams.

Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business administration, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience managing marketing campaigns, preferably within the golf, hospitality, or technology industry.
- Proven track record of developing and executing successful, multi-channel marketing strategies.
- Strong knowledge of email and SMS marketing platforms (Club Caddie Marketing (Campaign Monitor) experience preferred).
- Understanding of the golf industry, including golf course operations, club management, and golfer engagement.
- Excellent written, visual, and verbal communication skills.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret campaign data and derive actionable insights.
- Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple clients and deadlines.
- Passion for marketing, client success, and the golf industry.
30-60-90 STARING PLAN
Days 1-30:
- Learn the framework of your day-to-day responsibilities.
- Gain in-depth knowledge of Club Caddie’s software, including the Marketing Suite and Club Caddie Marketing (Campaign Monitor) tools.
- Participate in Club Caddie Marketing (Campaign Monitor) training to understand email and SMS capabilities, integrations, and reporting.
- Collaborate with the Managed Marketing Team Lead to understand product offerings, workflows, and client processes.
- Shadow existing Managed Marketing specialists to observe client meetings, campaign development, and reporting processes.
Days 31-60:
- Begin managing select client accounts with guidance from the Director of Managed Marketing.
- Conduct your first Club Caddie Marketing (Campaign Monitor) client training sessions (email and SMS).
- Create your first marketing plans, campaign content, and automated journeys for clients.
- Monitor campaign results and discuss performance improvements with your manager.
- Contribute to the creation of new Club Caddie Marketing (Campaign Monitor) templates, onboarding materials, and internal documentation.
Days 61-90 (and beyond):
- Take full ownership of multiple client accounts, managing campaigns end-to-end.
- Analyze campaign performance data to identify optimization and upsell opportunities.
- Deliver consistent client touchpoints through monthly meetings, reports, and proactive communication.
- Lead training sessions and develop educational content to help clients scale their own use of Club Caddie Marketing (Campaign Monitor).
- Actively contribute to process improvements and new product features to enhance Club Caddie’s Managed Marketing and Email/SMS offerings.
