Reporting to the AVP Credit Operations, the Group Manager II, Operations is a senior leader within Commercial Operations, accountable for the end‑to‑end oversight of Floorplan Administration and Wholesale Lease Operations. The role is responsible for ensuring transactions are executed accurately, efficiently, and in accordance with policy, regulatory requirements, and service standards.

This leader oversees day‑to‑day administration and customer service delivery, serving as a key escalation point for complex operational matters. The role exercises sound judgment, partners closely with internal stakeholders, and drives continuous improvement across systems, processes, and controls to support business growth and operational resilience.

The general accountabilities of this role include but are not limited to the following:

  • Lead and develop a combined Floorplan Administration and Lease Operations team (~10 FTEs), delivering timely, accurate funding for dealer, OEM, and supplier requests in line with established service standards.
  • Own operational customer service for dealers and internal partners, serving as the primary escalation point and ensuring consistent, high‑quality service delivery.
  • Own end‑to‑end programming and ongoing integrity of the inventory management platform, including client onboarding and offboarding, exposure management, interest rate updates, exceptions, and system enhancements.
  • Lead data integrity between the inventory management platform and the Bank’s core systems, ensuring accurate representation of limits, balances, and exposure.
  • Own the internal account reconciliation framework, including daily oversight, month‑end execution, revenue GL reconciliation, and timely resolution of variances to ensure financial accuracy.
  • Drive operational efficiency through process simplification, standardization, and automation across funding, programming, and reconciliation activities.
  • Act as the primary operational and system subject‑matter expert for the inventory management platform, partnering with Technology and Operational Control to prioritize defect resolution, manage incidents, and deliver enhancements.
  • Establish, monitor, and continuously refine service‑level agreements (SLAs) and productivity standards to drive accountability, transparency, and sustained performance.
  • Ensure strong operational controls and effective risk management across floorplan and lease activities, including ownership of system‑related risk events and remediation actions.

SKILLS / EXPERIENCE

  • Commercial automotive lending knowledge and exposure would be ideal.
  • Demonstrable comfort with systems and technology, with the ability to leverage platforms to drive operational performance and control.
  • A collaborative leader with the confidence to challenge, influence, and drive alignment across internal and external partners.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills, with the ability to engage confidently with clients, partners, and senior stakeholders.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically, cut through complexity, and drive change and execute with speed.
