The Financial Crimes Domain (FCD) brings together key capabilities to disrupt financial crime & deliver on our regulatory obligations to protect our customers and community.

 

The Financial Crime Reporting and Insights Crew is focused at creating products to support meeting external regulatory reporting obligations, develop advanced analytics tools to identify complex structures and provide a platform for consistent single source of truth financial crime management insights and reporting.

Reporting directly to the Crew Lead, this role is responsible for leading the Business Insights & Analytics squad. The purpose of this squad is to provide accurate, timely and consistent management reporting on Financial Crime Operations measures.

 

Key responsibilities will include

  • Lead the end-to-end management reporting product development, from opportunity identification and engagement across FCS

  • Lead and define the vision and roadmap for the product in partnership with business stakeholders and product management to maximise delivery of business value and support benefits realisation.

  • Apply expertise to support opportunity analysis, prioritisation, balance trade-offs, and explore strategies to successfully achieve business outcomes.

  • Accountable for addressing impediments, driving decisions and resolving escalations.

  • Act as the voice of the business and translate this for the team.

  • Drive project inception and exploration to ensure alignment of product strategy.

  • Formulate hypotheses to validate customer problems and define clear learning objectives that will inform product roadmap and prioritisation decisions.

  • Identify, articulate and manage risks and compliance across streams of work.

  • Incorporate design thinking and analytics to inform product design.

  • Lead and develop the product roadmap, and engagement with senior stakeholders/business units to manage the delivery of product roadmap.

  • Lead the Squad day-to-day to deliver change and lifecycle activities.

  • Maintain a well prioritised Backlog to deliver business and customer outcomes.

  • Manage senior business and technical stakeholders to ensure that prioritisation is understood and agreed to.

  • Manage the Squad’s performance to defined objectives including OKR tracking, etc.

  • Release prototypes and iterate a product that meets customer needs and achieves the crew’s goals.

 

We want to hear from you if you have

  • Extensive experience in leading management reporting with focus on operational metrics

  • AI mindset and experience preferred

  • AWS, SAS, SQL, Tableau or other analytics tools experience

  • Cloud analytical solutions including awareness of AI capabilities

  • Advanced presentation skills including providing ability to simplify messaging in actional insights

  • Experience in delivering strong outcomes in an Agile environment

  • Ability to influence and align stakeholders on strategic priorities

  • Advanced ability to drive multiple initiatives concurrently and execute on a roadmap of initiatives

  • Advanced communication, stakeholder engagement and influencing skills across all levels of the business

  • Proven problem solving skills coupled with a strong ability be customer centric and think differently about strategies to grow the portfolio

  • Strong commercial acumen and decision making skills

  • Strong planning and time management skills with the ability to deal with competing priorities, upcoming due dates and prioritisation decisions when required

  • Tertiary qualification in a Business / Commerce Degree Preferred
