About the Role

In this role, you will identify and communicate analytics related to optimizing cost of goods and other Private Brand metrics

What You’ll Do

  • Conduct analysis, determine insights and collaborate with different stakeholders

  • Examine large data sets to identify trends, develop charts and create visual presentations to help businesses make more strategic decisions

  • Leverage a suite of analytics tools to analyze data including spend and product cost in order to identify spend optimization, cost reduction opportunities and other key metrics

  • Maintain Sourcing Optimizing tools and models

  • Support the Senior Sourcing Analytics Analyst in identifying key insights from analyses, cutting through large amounts of data to quickly identify trends and implications

  • Provide analysis to inform insights, reporting on findings and using analyses to help Sourcing prepare for critical vendor negotiations and overall company decision-making initiatives

  • Support Global Sourcing Product Services teams in initiatives by providing data, analysis and reporting

  • Track and report on macro commodity trends

  • Extract, clean and prepare data 

  • Spreadsheet tool development and management

  • Summarize data and insights in a compelling, visual format 

  • Build and maintain data visualization dashboards in Qlik

  • Leverage AI and other technology levers to provide data driven analytics and insights

  • Additional tasks may be assigned

What Skills You Have

Required

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Analytics, Finance or other quantitative field 

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to translate analysis into insights

Preferred

  • 2+ years of analytics and insights experience, particularly:

  • Advanced skills in Excel, Google Sheets

  • Experience building dashboards and reports using Business Intelligence tools (ex: Tableau, Qlik)

  • Experience using SQL to query data in a data warehouse (ex: Teradata, BigQuery)

  • Experience with purchasing or supply chain management in the apparel / home goods industry and/or retail knowledge

  • Experience presenting complex data analyses

  • Experience w/PLM, including Sourcing Optimization tool experience

  • Modeling experience

  • Alteryx programming skills
