Alexis Road Animal Hospital is a full-service small animal hospital looking for a Veterinary Assistant to join our growing practice! Alexis Road Animal Hospital strives to help our team members find a balance between life and work. The experienced veterinary assistant would have at least two years of experience in the veterinary industry. They would be compassionate towards our patients, clients, and staff. Excellent communication and organizational skills are a must. They would be a positive team player looking to support our amazing team and willing to continue their own education. The ideal candidate would be confident in rooming patients, taking history, helping with surgery recovery, has experience and knowledge with Idexx in-clinic laboratory equipment, can properly handle and restrain animals, is willing to work with our technicians and veterinarians, understands the importance of client education, not opposed to helping in other areas if needed, and wants to advance their skills to the next level.
