We are looking for an Entry Level Quality Engineer to join our growing Pittsburgh (Cheswick) location!

Your Responsibilities:

Curtiss-Wright EMD is growing our Quality Engineering department supporting the design and manufacture of EMD’s highly engineered products. Your Challenge:

• Participate in internal, process and external audits

• Assist in translation of customer or regulatory requirements into manufacturing instructions

• Develop skills to create quality assurance data packages

• Assist in the analysis of production data to create reports and help identify trends

• Participate in the root cause analysis to implement corrective actions as needed. 

• Strong communication skills are a must to ensure quality standards are met within the team and across other departments

• Identifies potential project or supplier quality concerns

What you Bring:

• BS Engineering or related technical degree

• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving ability

• 0 to 1 years of experience

• Must be sole US citizen and be able to obtain and maintain DOD security clearance

• Ability to read and understand Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerances (ASME Y14.5) is an asset
