We are looking for an Entry Level Quality Engineer to join our growing Pittsburgh (Cheswick) location!
Your Responsibilities:
Curtiss-Wright EMD is growing our Quality Engineering department supporting the design and manufacture of EMD’s highly engineered products. Your Challenge:
Participate in internal, process and external audits
Assist in translation of customer or regulatory requirements into manufacturing instructions
Develop skills to create quality assurance data packages
Assist in the analysis of production data to create reports and help identify trends
Participate in the root cause analysis to implement corrective actions as needed.
Strong communication skills are a must to ensure quality standards are met within the team and across other departments
Identifies potential project or supplier quality concerns
What you Bring:
BS Engineering or related technical degree
Strong critical thinking and problem-solving ability
0 to 1 years of experience
Must be sole US citizen and be able to obtain and maintain DOD security clearance
Ability to read and understand Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerances (ASME Y14.5) is an asset
