Job Description:

This position will develop multi-level and cross-functional relationships with customer’s key personnel. Key goal is to achieve sales profitability and growth by executing a sales strategy that aligns customer requirements with the correct mix of products and services. A large focus will be to successfully manage, and launch commercialize projects which could consist of innovation concepts, product extensions, or productivity while implementing performance baseline and process governance mechanisms.

What you’ll do:

  • Listen and respond to the voice of the customer as part of the daily execution of sales management. Develop and execute a business plan that ensures the achievement of volume, margin, and profit targets. Work cross functionally within Schreiber to develop, revise and implement programs to meet customer requirements. Comprehensive follow through with internal and external customers to assure alignment with customer expectations. Responsible for retaining and cultivating assigned customers and acquiring new customers. Has deep knowledge of company products and services. Exercises strong judgment in methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for obtaining results. Highly engaged in development of new business opportunities or emerging areas. Partner is responsible for all geographies of their customer(s), which could include Global accounts.
  • Develop pricing programs to profitably grow our business. Understand and utilize risk management tools to assist with margin management. Forecast both volume and financial performance for internal Schreiber use. Responsible for negotiations of pricing and terms of sale. 
  • Lead the design and execution of short and long term customer growth strategies. Develop continuous improvement strategies with cross functional teams and customer partnership governances, including KPIs.
  • Develop a multi-level and cross-functional relationship with all external customer departments (QA, Marketing, Purchasing, R&D, Supply Chain, and Culinary) and link into Schreiber accordingly.
  • Ensure placement of Schreiber products in customer’s product portfolio.
  • Lead Pre-Trial discussions with key stakeholders to ensure Schreiber and Customer expectations are clearly defined and system and documentation requirements are in place. Ensure adherence to Schreiber's project management process (EPM) to achieve desired project outcomes. Manage day-to-day activities of the project team; guide them to understand and apply the EPM process. Facilitate and lead weekly discussions with cross functional team(s) to communicate status of current deliverables and elevate any topics impacting success of project delivery. Manage and communicate project status, schedule, and deliverables.
  • Lead the execution of customer driven projects from concept (Business Brief approval) to commercialization. Commercialization projects can consist of packaging redesigns, product line extensions, new product launches and/or customer driven capital expenditure projects. Anticipate, communicate, and manage issues and risks to ensure project success. Lead the development of project timeline, work breakdown structure and resource requirements.
  • Provide timely information necessary to all internal Schreiber departments to meet the external customer’s requests.

  • Bachelor degree in Business or related field
  • 1 Year of Sales or comparable, with 3+ years preferred.

  • Position location: Schreiber Home Office in Green Bay, WI
  • The effective candidate will also possess excellent communication and organizational skills

  • Internal Candidates: Demonstrate a pattern of consistent performance success with demonstrated ability to provide superior results in an intermediate level role.
  • Valid driver's license, auto insurance (at least state minimum- more might be required), acceptable driving record per Schreiber Foods discretion, and vehicle that will ensure applicant can meet the travel necessities of the position are required.
  • Travel up to 25-50% annually to various customer locations as needed
