JOB MISSION:

The Latin America Marketing Manager will be charged with growing New Balance Brand Equity across the region. Your primary responsibility is to ensure all markets are executing the global gameplan with excellence, across the marketing funnel. Your aim is to raise awareness, consideration and purchase of New Balance, creating digital and social interactions.  The main focus of this role will be to enhance and execute the regional running program, bring to life the LATAM entertainment strategy and ensure lifestyle program execution. It is important to note that the success of this role depends highly on working in a coordinated effort with regional distribution partners and global marketing teams.

MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Ensures that global and regional running program impact runners for business growth. 
  • Coordinates between HQ, Agencies, and distributor marketing teams to ensure seamless flow of information and assets
  • Consult with markets, cross functional and global teams to ensure global consistency across regionally-led activations and correct implementation of the global game plan.
  • Coordinates use and application of global tools and best practices across regional e-comm sites.
  • Critical reporting and business analysis to apply knowledge to the region; linking marketing to the overall business results.
  • Is the main contact for our regional digital marketing agency, ensuring that year-round marketing plans are executed with excellence and in alignment with distributor partners.

REQUIRMENTS FOR SUCCESS:

  • 5-7 Years’ Experience in marketing, consumer brand or agency. Responsibilities across Latin America
  • Firm understanding of Media Landscape – Social, Mobile, Digital, Content
  • Must be able to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization. Strong written, oral communication skills
  • Experience within the footwear, apparel or athletics industry and/or a passion for sports preferred. 
  • Understands and thrives on working on challenger brands.
  • Experience across Latin America – focus on Mexico
  • Dynamic leader with the ability to create strong cross functional partnerships across all levels
  • Strong analytical thinking in order to analyze results and recommend improvements.
  • International travel required (~25%)
  • Bilingual (English and Spanish/Portuguese)
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, analytics or similar
  • Passion for digital. Must understand the digital landscape (Digital, Social, Mobile and E-comm), tools and applications in a Brand Marketing context.
