So what does a Strategic Partner in Procurement (Senior Manager) really do? Think of yourself as one of the leaders of your department so not just anyone is qualified for this role! Imagine yourself going to work with one thing on your mind: to purchase and deliver quality goods and services of the right quantity and quality at the best price.  As you tackle your new tasks for the day, you know that it will lead to one thing: your goal is to be able to deliver all the purchase as well as achieve the highest standard of professional procurement.

As a Strategic Partner in Procurement (Senior Manager) you will have to be someone who upholds due diligence and has good management skills, after all, you are a manager. You will evaluate prospective suppliers before signing them up to ensure that they meet the needs of the organization. You will also have to conduct competitive bidding wherein you have to request for information, quotation, and proposal. You will also be in charge of commercial term negotiation (price, payment terms, and more). As a Senior Procurement Manager, you will also evaluate the bid results, analyze the cost, and make recommendations to the management. You will track savings of negotiations and implement sourcing programs as well as generate reports and analyze the spending patterns. Is that all? Well, no, because as Senior Procurement Manager, you will also have to analyze the marketplace and analyze the major suppliers and in the process identify and measure the ongoing metrics. You will have to consolidate and document intellectual capital or all key categories like a list of potential suppliers, strategies, key success factors and monitor and track delivery status of orders placed. You will ensure that all purchasing activities are conducted in accordance with procurement and TaskUs compliance policies. As Strategic Partner in Procurement (Senior Manager), you will also create and implement policies and guidelines for procurement function, attend project meetings, and work closely with other departments within the company. You will also have to contract review and negotiation.

So definitely someone with experience in being one, so if you have at least 5 years of experience, you can qualify for the role and we need someone who already has strong leadership skills.

Are you already a Manager who specializes in purchasing and with strong knowledge of the overall Procurement process? Then you’re exactly what we’re looking for! We also need someone who has proven expertise in budgeting, financial modelling, performance analysis, and reporting.

So, what is it we’re looking for? Well, since this is a Senior Manager post we’d need someone who already has the skills to even call themselves one. So definitely someone with experience in being one, so if you have at least 5 years of experience, you can qualify for the role and we need someone who already has strong leadership skills. Also, a Bachelor’s degree is needed for this position!

We need someone who has strong leadership capabilities, has strong negotiation skills, and someone who can articulate themselves well. So we need someone with excellent written and verbal skills because let’s face it -- can you even be a Senior Procurement Manager if you can’t express yourself well?

We need someone who is assertive with high integrity but is also resourceful and a team player as well. We need someone who has strong quantitative and analytical skills. Someone who has extensive experience in Operation & IT procurement and has advanced contract negotiation skills. You must also have strong knowledge of the industry.
