As a Strategic Partner in Procurement (Senior Manager) you will have to be someone who upholds due diligence and has good management skills, after all, you are a manager. You will evaluate prospective suppliers before signing them up to ensure that they meet the needs of the organization. You will also have to conduct competitive bidding wherein you have to request for information, quotation, and proposal. You will also be in charge of commercial term negotiation (price, payment terms, and more). As a Senior Procurement Manager, you will also evaluate the bid results, analyze the cost, and make recommendations to the management. You will track savings of negotiations and implement sourcing programs as well as generate reports and analyze the spending patterns. Is that all? Well, no, because as Senior Procurement Manager, you will also have to analyze the marketplace and analyze the major suppliers and in the process identify and measure the ongoing metrics. You will have to consolidate and document intellectual capital or all key categories like a list of potential suppliers, strategies, key success factors and monitor and track delivery status of orders placed. You will ensure that all purchasing activities are conducted in accordance with procurement and TaskUs compliance policies. As Strategic Partner in Procurement (Senior Manager), you will also create and implement policies and guidelines for procurement function, attend project meetings, and work closely with other departments within the company.
