Responsibilities
As a Senior Frontend Engineer at DFINITY, you will:
- Lead the development of user-facing applications, such as control panels for network governance or status dashboards
- Create prototype applications that showcase the unique concepts and capabilities of the Internet Computer
- Collaborate with designers to develop scalable design systems and pattern libraries that support a consistent user experience
- Ensure security, performance, and accessibility are built into the core of everything you develop
- Guide the team on browser support, integration testing, and performance optimization
Background and Skills
You’ll thrive in this role if you have:
- Deep expertise with JavaScript frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue
- A strong track record of collaborating with designers to build sophisticated design systems
- A proactive approach to considering security, accessibility, and performance from the start of each project
- Proven experience developing responsive, high-performance apps for mobile, tablet, and desktop platforms
- The ability to mentor and elevate the team through honest feedback, best practices, and workflow improvements
- Exceptional communication skills, with experience collaborating across teams in different locations and time zones
- 5+ years of experience as a frontend engineer, with a history of shipping high-quality products
- Expert knowledge of web technologies, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
