RKL's Senior Living Services Consulting Group draws upon their healthcare industry background and consulting expertise to offer clients the operational, financial, clinical, third-party billing, reimbursement and compliance services that position them for sustainable success. The Senior Living Services Consulting Intern gains the necessary industry insights and financial acumen to harness the data from a wide variety of national, publicly available sources to help providers meet compliance obligations and identify opportunities.

Responsibilities

  • Exposure to a variety of clients and engagements
  • Assist with preparing cost reports for Medicare and Medicaid
  • Assist with analyzing financial transactions

Education, Experience and Certifications

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting
  • Minimum GPA of 3.0
  • Desire to pursue the CPA designation and a career in professional services/public accounting
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills required
  • Strong technical skills with the ability to problem-solve in a fast-paced environment

Essential Functions

  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position as needed
  • The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery etc.
  • Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as an adding machine, copy machine, and computer printer
  • Ability to communicate in a professional manner and exchange information with internal and external team members/vendors as needed
  • Ability to lift/carry up to 20 pounds
  • Ability to work outside of normal business hours and weekends as needed
  • Ability to travel to other office locations as needed, overnight travel may be required
