THE ROLE

This role will work within the Accenture Song team, serving a global automotive client (Jaguar Land Rover). The focus of this role is within the Brand Identity team. As a Designer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining the visual identity of our two brands across various channels and touchpoints.

You will work closely with the Chief Creative Officer, the Global Creative Directors, Design Directors, and Account Teams to ensure consistency and effectiveness in communicating the brand message.

The four key brands you will be working on will be Range Rover, Defender & Discovery and the JLR Corporate vision.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Creative Development

  • You will continue to evolve and champion the creative vision for each brand, setting the expectation at the highest level to ensure creative direction is in line with our Modern Luxury brand principles.
  • You will be working on the future Brand Identity guidelines of each brand. Which requires an understanding when it comes to Multi channel communications in both a ATL and BTL capacity.
  • As well as a specific understanding in Brand Identity; creating design systems, typographic development and working with type foundries and digital animation.
  • You will be expected to research photographers, directors, artists, latest technological trends, and social media collaborators that align with the brands Modern Luxury principles.
  • Knowledge and understanding of the luxury aesthetic and experience in its execution.
  • You’ll have a proven track record of art directing shoots and working with photographers. 
  • We expect you to be conceptually progressive, equipped with the skills to create award winning work across all mediums.
  • Ability to communicate and champion your creative vision to the Client.
  • Strong visualisation skills required for presenting conceptual work to Client.
  • You will be driven to push the limits of the creative medium.
  • The ability to brief and give constructive feedback to editors, animators, designers etc.
  • Develop excellent working relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to prioritise work based on short and long-term needs.
  • Always engaged with all aspects of visual culture and willing to share and inspire the wider team.
  • Strong understanding of the Creative Adobe Suite as well as other programs like Figma.

PERSON SPECIFICATION:

  • Collaborative with multiple teams outside of the creative department i.e. Account team, production, 3rd parties.
  • Happy to take constructed criticism on board
  • Thorough understanding of the creative, artwork and delivery processes – where applicable for both offline and online communications
  • Able to articulate and present ideas with conviction
  • A strong team player
  • Able to make decisions and solve problems based on sound technical knowledge
  • A clear communicator, in person and writing
  • Approachable, outgoing and diplomatic - must have excellent emotional intelligence 
  • Comfortable building strong connections with the wider Creative department and agency
  • Passionate about getting others involved and having fun along the way
