Your Opportunity
BDO Canada is currently seeking a replacement Senior Consultant, Modern Workplace to join our Technology Consulting team in the Greater Toronto Area. BDO’s Modern Workplace Practice provides clients with solutions and services in the areas of Microsoft 365, Copilot, Teams, SharePoint, Power Platform.
Responsibilities will include:
Lead Microsoft 365 and Copilot engagements by assessing client needs, designing AI-driven productivity solutions, and providing strategic guidance on M365 / Copilot adoption, implementation, and optimization.
Deliver consulting services to clients, including Microsoft 365 / Copilot readiness assessments, governance frameworks, user enablement strategies, training, and adoption with Microsoft 365 applications.
Interact with client stakeholders to become a trusted advisor throughout the project
Understand business strategy and objectives by studying the business function, gathering information, and evaluating output requirements and formats. Elicits and documents functional and non-functional requirements for services to meet business needs.
Responsible for leading workshops to gain insights into end user and customer needs
Collaborate with application developers, designers, and architects to ensure a shared understanding of the business requirements. Understanding of the solutions from a customer business point of view
Respond proactively to both business and project issues and escalate appropriately.
Evangelize Microsoft 365, Copilot and other Microsoft products internally and with clients
Participating in pre-sales activities including creating and running demos, presentations, drafting statements of work, pricing, proposals and responding to requests for proposal
Contribute to strategic direction of the Modern Workplace practice

Your Qualifications:
University Degree or College/CEGEP Diploma from a recognized post-secondary institution.
Minimum 5 years of experience in Microsoft 365 consulting, implementation, or a related role.
Excellent customer-facing, communication and presentation skills
Ability to lead workshops/requirements gathering sessions for modern workplace, content management, document management, intranets, portals, and collaboration solutions
Excellent knowledge of Microsoft 365 (SharePoint, Teams, Power Platform, Viva etc.).
Microsoft Certifications (e.g., MS-900, AZ-900, SC-900) considered an asset
Experience with Microsoft 365 Copilot and Copilot Studio is highly desirable.
Experience with power user configurations of SharePoint sites and Microsoft Teams
Experience creating end user documentation and provide training
Ability to identify information assets, classification of information, document retention policy/schedules
Understanding of the following concepts: generative AI, large language models, agentic AI, hyper automation, knowledge management, information management, records management, employee experience
Strong ability to manage multiple priorities, work under pressure to meet deadlines.
Ability to do light project management / project coordination would be an asset
Previous experience working with a consulting firm would be an asset
Excellent in multi-tasking and time management
The expected range of compensation for this role is $84,000 - $128,000 annually.
