The Expert, Brand Planning and Operations, Product Management, Global, is a disciplined optimizer and strategic partner who drives clarity, alignment, and execution across complex cross-functional initiatives. This expert is responsible for advancing six key objectives across the Brand Marketing function: centralizing buying, streamlining intake, reducing waste, improving product readiness, revolutionizing seeding, and upholding a unified service model. They bring a systems-thinking mindset, enabling teams to work more effectively together while driving scalable solutions that improve business outcomes globally.

This role serves as the steward of operational excellence for Product Management within Brand Marketing, identifying opportunities to improve processes, capabilities, and ways of working across global and geo teams. The Expert oversees managing business requirements, enhancement assessments, testing, training, access, governance, and adoption. Acting as they key liaison between global and geography teams, they ensure consistent implementation, alignment, and adherence to best practices across the organization.

WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON

The Expert, Brand Planning and Operations, Product Management, Global, will lead and support initiatives that drive operational excellence, capability development, and process optimization across the Brand Marketing organization. Examples of work include:

  • Driving product readiness across the organization by identifying gaps, improving visibility to product pipelines, and aligning cross-functional teams to ensure product is prepared, prioritized, and available to support key business objectives and moments.
  • Leading efforts to centralize the buying processes, creating greater visibility, consistency, and efficiency across teams and geographies.
  • Sustaining and implementing new opportunities to reduce waste, eliminate redundant work, and optimize operational processes through data-driven insights.
  • Maintaining a unified service model that creates consistency in how Brand Marketing teams engage, operate, and deliver services globally.
  • Managing the Product COE roadmap, including business requirements, enhancement prioritization, user acceptance testing, training, adoption, and change management.
  • Partnering with Finance to improve charge accuracy, budget visibility, and operational controls across product management processes.
  • Developing dashboards, metrics, and reporting frameworks that provide visibility into performance, adoption, productivity, and operational health.
  • Facilitating alignment across global and geography teams to drive consistent execution, capability adoption, and continuous improvement.
  • Assessing emerging tools, technologies, and capabilities that can improve efficiency and support the evolution of Brand Marketing operations.

WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH

This role partners closely with the Director of Global Shared Services Product COE, while working day‑to‑day with Geo Shared Services, Brand Marketing, Sports Marketing, AI, Platforms/Tech and cross‑functional Nike teams to activate and optimize Product Management.

WHAT YOU BRING

  • 8+ years of experience in product management, business operations, marketing operations, program management, process improvement, or a related field, with demonstrated success leading complex cross-functional initiatives.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or related field. Will accept any suitable combination of education, experience and training.
  • Proven ability to drive operational excellence and process optimization across large, matrixed organizations.
  • Experience designing and implementing scalable business processes, governance models, and operating frameworks that improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Strong background in cross-functional leadership, with the ability to influence stakeholders across global, geography, finance, technology, and business teams without direct authority.
  • Demonstrated success using data and insights to identify opportunities, measure impact, and drive informed decision-making.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate ambiguity, prioritize effectively, and translate complex challenges into actionable solutions.
  • Ability to balance strategic thinking with operational execution, moving seamlessly from defining long-term objectives to driving day-to-day implementation.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills, with a track record of aligning diverse teams around shared goals.
  • Experience partnering with finance teams on budget management, chargeback processes, forecasting, or financial governance.
