What you'll do
You'll utilise in-depth knowledge of the bank’s capabilities to maintain a portfolio of customer relationships and also support in managing successful and profitable relationships in the Professional & Business Services sector.
You’ll also:
- Be the coordinating first point of call for specific customer relationships, delivering the capabilities of the bank to appropriately meet those customers’ requirements including delivering sector content and core relationship facilities for these customers
- Support business delivery and goals, both financial and non-financial, and champion the customer and sector to deliver long term, sustainable returns and value
- Provide support in building and maintaining the business with a defined set of customers
- Provide strong analytical capability to understand customer requirements and deliver appropriate solutions to meet those requirements
- Support your colleagues in all aspects of defining target customer segments and commercial bank strategy to deliver to those chosen customers
- Contribute effectively to team activities including the generation of new origination and sales ideas and initiatives
The skills you'll need
You'll need good strategic capability and origination experience including in-depth product knowledge across the financial services. Previous solid experience in a coverage or loan market role is sought and previous experience in the Professional & Business Services sector is ideal.
You’ll also need:
- A practical understanding of and application of risk management disciplines
- Analytical, numerical, financial modelling and IT skills to include namely Microsoft Excel & PowerPoint
- A track record of working effectively with others to build business success
- The ability to develop a good network across the bank to enable customer delivery through aligned bank appetite and capability
- Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken, with strong attention to detail
