Project Role : Infra Tech Support Practitioner
Project Role Description : Provide ongoing technical support and maintenance of production and development systems and software products (both remote and onsite) and for configured services running on various platforms (operating within a defined operating model and processes). Provide hardware/software support and implement technology at the operating system-level across all server and network areas, and for particular software solutions/vendors/brands. Work includes L1 and L2/ basic and intermediate level troubleshooting.

Roles & Responsibilities:
• Prepare moderate to complex network designs/schematics to address specific customer
network solution requirements.
• Prepare work orders containing instructions to be used by technicians to configure network
hardware and software.
• Work with customer technical teams to provide solutions for customers internetworking
communications requirements.
• Configure and troubleshoot WAN/ LAN/ WLAN equipment in a complex environment.
• Remotely support new installs, circuit upgrades and logical changes.
Professional & Technical Skills:
• Must Have Skills: Cisco Wireless technology and Identity service engine (Cisco ISE)
• Good to Have Skills: Routing, Switching and Infoblox (DDI)
• Should be able to lead a team and Excellent knowledge and troubleshooting skills on Cisco
Wireless Controllers, Local and Flex connect groups, Mobility tunnels WLC upgrade, Cisco
Routers, F5 load balancers and Infoblox DDI.
• Maintain design of LAN/WAN including protocols and routing.
• Troubleshooting critical incidents and problem tickets.
• Identify potential failures and recommend solution Update knowledge base with known
errors/resolutions.
• Provide day to day operational support for the in-scope device Management Services and
Advance level knowledge of Fault Management like Identify and Classify Fault, Investigate and
Diagnose Fault and Provide Fault resolution.
• Should have very good experience of software patch management to manage the Extreme
cloud patch management cycle, patch testing and deployment of patches on timely basis.
• Experience in managing Multi-Client Networks, WAN Links, LAN Management and Excellent
knowledge of Advanced Networking and Network Protocols.
• Co-ordinate with 3rd party vendors for Network Hardware replacement & Core level debugging.
• Follow ITIL process with proving skills in working with Incident & Change management
methodologies.
• Should be able to drive Network projects & work at the Data center during deployment of
Network hardware’s.
• Experience with Wireshark or other NAM tools.
• Should have 4 to 6 years of experience in Cisco Wireless Network operational
support/management roles.
• Should have supported Network deployments.
• Should have experience performing Network transitions / transformations.
• Good communication skills and understanding of procedures, application, and concepts within
own subject area.
Additional Information:
• Educational Qualification: B.E (Bachelor of Engineering ) in Computer Science or equivalent.
• Certifications in CCNA / CCNP Wireless or any other relevant certifications.
• The candidate should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in Network Infrastructures.
