We are looking for someone to support the coordination, development, and fulfillment of the Indigenous consultation portion of the Ontario Energy Board (OEB) and/or Canadian Energy Regulator (CER) regulatory application process, including interrogatory responses. This role will be primarily focused on regulatory actions with limited engagement with the community.

Coordinate and support project-specific Indigenous consultation regulatory applications, including reviewing evidence for filing, the development of interrogatories and evidence gathering for technical conferences.
Support the development of timely, project-specific environmental responses to Indigenous communities to ensure consistency and accuracy of information shared.
Support the advancement of Indigenous consultations by working with the relevant government agencies and regulators to share information and receive feedback.
Assist and support the development and implementation of major project engagement plans to meet regulatory requirements and build, maintain and enhance Enbridge's reputation as a trusted corporate citizen.
Support our engagement team in maintaining and developing relationships with leadership, key departments and influential community members within Indigenous Nations, Governments and groups in Eastern Canada.
Support the implementation of Enbridge’s Life Cycle Approach to Indigenous Engagement and contribute to our efforts to drive meaningful results on Indigenous economic development and employment initiatives.
Lead the coordination of various overarching projects, ensuring the counsel of Community and Indigenous Engagement is present and input is provided.
Provide support and advice on how to implement plans to meet Enbridge’s Environment, Social and Governance (ESG) commitments related to Indigenous employment and procurement.
University degree from a related post-secondary program with 4 or more years of directly related work or life experience working with Indigenous Nations, Governments, groups, or businesses; and/or a combination of education and work experience may be considered.
Preference may be given to a candidate who identifies as Indigenous (First Nations, Metis, Inuit).
Understanding of the Ontario Energy Board, Canadian Energy Regulator.
Knowledge and aptitude in engaging with Indigenous leadership, Elders and community members.
Basic understanding of our business and ability to quickly learn Enbridge operations activities, experience in corporate relations, business, policy and/or budgets.
Exceptional written and verbal communication, presentation, and organizational abilities.
Ability to prioritize and complete multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Strong analytical skills to quickly analyze complex situations and determine key issues and messages.
Ability to work independently with minimal direction.
Strong ability in conflict management.
Office environment
Some after-hour work to ensure regulatory deadlines are met.
Travel frequently includes driving for long periods of time, including time outside of standard business hours.
