• Supports the EHS & Facilities Manager in the Facilities roles and responsibilities
• Collaborates with all departments involved (Operations, Quality etc.) as well as with external stakeholders (including the landlord) to coordinate projects and activities related to facilities management, installations and equipment
• Ensures oversight of the EDC Reception Team and ensures a clear expectation on roles and responsibilities for the reception staff
• Establish and maintain facilities related contracts with vendors, contractors and service providers
• Responsible for the coordination and executing of maintenance activities to ensure that the EDC Facilities, building installations and equipment are in good condition to provide a safe, secure and productive work environment
• Responsible for the preparation, coordination and execution of facilities change projects
• Is a key stakeholder in the EDC Security Program
• Supports the site EHS Program by ensuring contractor safety, issuing work permits, and ensuring that EHS rules and regulations are followed throughout the entire execution of (contractor) activities and projects
• Ensures compliance with all relevant standards throughout all tasks and projects

EDUCATION AND COMPETENCIES

• Has technical affinity
• Is service oriented, flexible, pro-active and communication skills
• Fluent in Dutch and English, written and spoken; French is a plus
• Affinity with project management
• Able to collaborate with different departments, cultures and stakeholders
• Quality, safety and continous improvement mindset
• Ability to plan, organize and prioritize daily work
• Bachelor degree or equivalent through experience
