Job Summary:

You are a Software Tools Developer who specializes in Quickbase and is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining software solutions primarily using Quickbase to support business processes and enhance operational efficiencies.

You will play a pivotal role in enhancing business operations through the development and support of technical solutions, primarily focused on Quickbase applications. This position is responsible for optimizing workflows, creating reports, and troubleshooting issues to ensure seamless functionality and user satisfaction.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Understand and enhance business processes with the use of Quickbase.
  • Development of QuickBase applications: table building, field creation, forms, and relationships.
  • Create reports and dashboards using Quickbase and Power BI to provide operational metrics for business leaders.
  • Troubleshoots and resolves technical issues raised by Quickbase users, optimizing system setup and workflows as necessary.
  • Designs and implements integrations and automations between Quickbase and other systems, enhancing data flow and operational efficiency.
  • Provide technical support and training to Quickbase users through hands-on training sessions and guidance on best practices, ensuring effective utilization of the platform.
  • Collaborate closely with stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements for Quickbase applications, translating business needs into scalable and robust technical solutions.
  • Critically assess user requests to optimize existing functionality and propose enhancements.

Qualifications:

  • Quickbase Expert Certification required
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience utilizing Quickbase is required
  • In-depth knowledge of the capabilities of Quickbase, including database design, formula fields, reports, dashboards, and APIs.
  • Strong skills in creating dashboards and translating business needs into technical specifications.
  • Proficiency with Power BI.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to understand complex business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment as well as independently.
  • Ability to write clear and concise technical documentation, including application specifications, user manuals, and training materials.
  • Construction coordination background is considered an asset
