How you will contribute

  • Creation of the European based International Customer & Retail Alliance engagement strategy together with lead countries 

  • Negotiation of the European based International Customer & Retail Alliance contracts  

  • Ensure and track in market activation of initiatives agreed within the International Customer & Retail Alliance agreement 

  • Coordination and communication of International Customer & Retail Alliance negotiations with relevant market teams to ensure consistent strategy, messaging and behaviour  

  • Regular updates on international negotiations strategy and status to the Mondelez Europe Leadership Team 

  • Continuous evaluation of the effectiveness of the International Customer & Retail Alliance relationship and the impact of the above activities 

  • Development of new approaches to international customer engagement  

  • Leading, coaching and developing a team of international Account Managers and their respective teams 

  • Member of the Mondelez Europe Central Sales Leadership Team 

  • Support development of retailer data strategy and playbook (e.g. Carrefour Links and Datashopper) 

What you will bring

A desire to drive your future and accelerate your career and the following experience and knowledge:

  • 10+ years professional Sales experience in FMCG International Company 

  • In depth knowledge of European / International Trade environment and commercial leverages 

  • Customer Engagement: very experienced in building strong customer connections, proficient understanding of Joint Business Planning and how to convert integrated commercial plans into triple win (customer, shopper, supplier) joint value creation and measurable in-market results 

  • Negotiation: highly skilled negotiator with proven track record of trade spend effectiveness management and optimization 

  • Revenue Management: Several years’ experience growing volume, net revenues, profit and market shares for global and local categories 

  • People Leadership: Proven track record of successful people leadership and development at senior levels, ideally remotely across different geographies 

  • Political and Interpersonal Savvy: strong influencing & communication skills combined with strong interpersonal and relationship building skills, to effectively interact with external and internal stakeholders

  • Excellent English skills are a must
