What you can look forward to

The Commercial Assistant’s primary responsibility is supporting the efforts of our AMEA regional commercial function to secure meaningful and sustainable growth projects. This position will also be expected to assist the global commercial function on an ad-hoc basis.

• Gain experience in executing business capture methodology by performing detailed customer research and data collection

• Acquire in-depth understanding of emerging markets in Africa, the Middle East and Asia (AMEA Region)

• Work alongside our Regional Chief Commercial Officer and commercial team in the frontline by providing support for projects and initiatives across Africa, the Middle East and Asia

• Play an active part in delivering on a strong growth agenda and deliver tailored solutions in a variety of geographies and to many different customers

What you will do

In this role, you will specifically:

• Assist with tender document production

• Develop proposals and quotes

• Help with developing customer value propositions and market research

• Support the capture of market intelligence and project-relevant data, including project pipeline, competitors and client overviews

• Support relationships with clients and commercial stakeholders

• Develop and maintain good working relationships with internal stakeholders

Who we are looking for

To be successful in this role, you:

• Have a Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, finance, or a related field

• Have 1-3 years of working experience in a professional context

• Are a natural collaborator with the ability to build and develop strong business relationships with colleagues from all functions

• Hold the appetite for expanding areas of expertise and enjoy facing new tasks and challenges

• Have a high personal drive, high level of integrity, are structured, result oriented and proactive

• Are fluent in English, both written and verbal

• Are highly competent in MS Office, Microsoft Co-pilot and ChatGPT

Requirements:

• This is an Emiratized role, it is open for UAE Nationals (with passport and family book) only

• Traveling is not required for this role
