Job Summary: We are seeking a multifaceted and analytical Investment Research Analyst to join our US Growth investment team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in healthcare therapeutics (or healthcare in general) and a keen interest in investment management. This role will focus on identifying investment opportunities, analyzing market trends, and supporting strategic initiatives to enhance our healthcare portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct in-depth market research and analysis to identify high-potential investment opportunities in the healthcare sector, particularly in therapeutics.
  • Monitor and analyze industry trends, competitive landscape, and regulatory changes to inform investment strategies.
  • Build and maintain financial models, dashboards, and reports to track and measure the effectiveness of investment initiatives.
  • Collaborate with portfolio managers, analysts, and other team members to support the execution of investment strategies.
  • Provide actionable insights and recommendations to senior management based on data analysis and market research.
  • Assist in the development of investment theses and business cases to support investment decisions and strategic planning.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in healthcare therapeutics and emerging technologies.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, biology or related field of study.
  • Graduate degree in business or finance (MBA, MS Finance)
  • Experience in a growth analyst or similar role, preferably within the investment management or healthcare industry.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in financial analysis tools and software (e.g., Excel, SQL, Bloomberg).
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex information to diverse audiences.
  • Knowledge of healthcare therapeutics, market dynamics, and regulatory environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

For New York and California based candidates, the salary range for this role is $135,000.00 = $165,000.00. Actual offers are based on various factors including but not limited to a candidate’s location, skills, experience, and relevant education and/or training. This position is eligible for cash incentive providing the potential to earn more.
