Your Impact

The Senior Manager, HR Business Partner acts as a strategic advisor to business leaders, providing expert guidance on HR policies, practices, and initiatives. They partner with assigned business functions across the department and company to deliver value-added service to management and employees that are in direct alignment with DISCOs business objectives. They provide mentorship and learning opportunities to HR Generalists or junior HRBPs as needed.

What You'll Do

  • Strategic Partnership: Serves as a strategic partner to business leaders, providing guidance on HR-related matters. Aligns HR strategies with business objectives to drive organizational success. Develops and implements HR plans and initiatives that support business goals.
  • Employee Relations: Manages and resolves complex employee relations issues, including conflict resolution and disciplinary actions. Conducts investigations into employee complaints and ensures compliance with company policies and legal requirements. Fosters a positive and inclusive work environment.
  • Performance Management: Develops and implements performance management systems and processes. Provides coaching and feedback to managers and employees to improve performance. Conducts performance reviews and facilitates performance improvement plans.
  • Policy Development and Compliance: Develops and updates HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws. Stays current with changes in employment laws and regulations and ensures the company remains compliant.
  • Employee Engagement: Develops and implements employee engagement initiatives to improve morale and retention. Works with business leaders to implement action plans based on survey results.

Who You Are

  • 7+ years of experience in human resources, with at least 3 years in a senior HRBP or similar role.
  • Strong leadership and mentoring skills.
  • Knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
  • Ability to communicate complex HR concepts clearly and effectively.
  • Experience with HR information systems (HRIS) and other HR software.
  • Experience working for a high growth tech company
