Job Summary:

The basic function of the Store Clerical Staff is to assist customers, sales and design staff and store management in the operations relating to the customer buying experience and the routine maintenance of the store.

La-Z-Boy is hiring one extraordinary team member to support our store as an Administrative Representative. You will work alongside the Manager, Sales Associates, and Designers as a team to provide our customers with an exceptional experience by answering calls, resolving customer concerns, keeping the showroom customer-ready, and some reporting items. Qualifications and Skills of an Administrative Representative:

  • Dependable and on time every day. Our customers and team members are counting on you.
  • Team player and Self-starter - You will have the training and mentoring you need. We then trust you to show up on time, ready to work, and get the job done right!
  • Efficient and clear communicator – you will be working with our internal and external clients
  • Maintain an organized working environment with a high attention to detail
  • Ability to problem solve
  • Ability to learn new computer programs
  • Excellent customer service skills – in person talking with clients and over the phone
  • Able to navigate multiple technologies while staying engaged with our customers

Requirements:

  • 18 years or older
  • Prior Administrative or Customer Service or related experience
  • Professional dress and appearance
  • Available weekends and most holidays – we’re closed Easter, Thanksgiving & Christmas!

Starting Pay: $16 per hour
