What You Will Do

The Auxiliary Technician I role provides hands‑on support to production operations in a team‑based manufacturing environment while following defined procedures and work instructions. This role is ideal for individuals early in their manufacturing career seeking to develop skills in a regulated environment.

  • Support daily manufacturing operations across multiple work areas to ensure production goals are met
  • Operate production and finishing equipment such as laser systems, vapor degreasers, magnetic finishers, spray wash, vibratory, and electropolish equipment
  • Perform metal finishing, packaging to vendor, and material handling activities following standard work instructions
  • Accurately complete routers and required production documentation
  • Follow all safety, quality, and GMP requirements to ensure compliance with regulated manufacturing standards
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional partners and team members to resolve basic production or process issues
  • Participate in continuous improvement efforts and support standardized manufacturing processes

What You Need

Preferred

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Minimum of 1 year of manufacturing experience in a regulated environment (GMP)
  • Basic understanding of manufacturing processes, procedures, and equipment operation, basic blueprint reading
  • Ability to follow defined work instructions and make simple judgments using established solutions
  • Strong attention to detail, dependability, and willingness to work in a team‑based environment
  • Effective communication skills (written, verbal, and active listening)
  • Ability to work assigned weekend shift hours

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift up to 10 lbs regularly and up to 45 lbs occasionally (team lift as required)
  • Ability to stand and move about the production floor for the duration of the shift
  • Ability to bend, reach, grasp, push, pull, and carry materials and equipment
  • Ability to operate machinery and use required personal protective equipment (PPE)
  • May be exposed to loud noises and manufacturing equipment hazards
