Idaho Power — located in vibrant Boise, Idaho — is looking for an IT Data and Analytics Leader to join our Information Technology team. It’s an exciting time to work for Idaho Power. What does an IT Data and Analytics Leader do for us?
This individual directs and leads a high-performance team responsible for development, support, and maintenance of analytic solutions that help stakeholders leverage data to gain valuable insights and make informed decisions. Solutions will include descriptive reports, dynamic visualizations, predictive models, and Generative AI, primarily leveraging the Microsoft suite, they will also lead the effort to solidify our Enterprise Data Strategy, increasing stakeholder literacy and engagement, establishing sound data governance models, and maturing data science practices in close coordination with the established Enterprise Data Management team. They will balance predictable delivery leveraging project management methodologies with the ability to adapt to evolving and dynamic business needs. They will work with other IT leaders and managers to ensure we meet these business needs with secure and sustainable solutions that adhere to established development standards and best practices. Through this work, they will play a key role in ensuring Idaho Power continues to provide reliable, affordable, clean energy and exceptional customer service. They will also have the opportunity to aid in effective intake, prioritization, and execution of work as well as capacity planning, resource allocation, and budget management.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
This position requires working at a desk/computer for extended periods of time. It requires the use of office equipment, fine motor skills including typing on the computer, dialing phones, filing paper, and working in close proximity to other people. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
This position is for a first line supervisor who reports directly to an IT Manager or Senior Manager. This person will be able to make well-thought-out collaborative decisions related to complex business problems and their respective technical solutions. This leadership position directly manages technical teams that support enterprise and non-enterprise system/application development, maintenance, upgrades, and any associated integrations. This position has budget responsibility regarding labor and training for the staff it manages.
