Our Design and Technology Enablement teams are working on the development of a broad portfolio of semiconductor technologies ranging from 350 nm down to 12nm including FD-SOI, RF, High-Voltage, and automotive applications.

Summary of Role

GlobalFoundries is seeking a strong technical leader to join our Design Enablement organization as a Process Design Kit (PDK) Program Manager. This role oversees the planning, development, and release of PDKs across multiple global sites and ensures smooth coordination between business, technology, and development teams.

Key Responsibilities

· Partner with business teams to align on marketing and customer requirements.

· Collaborate with Process Integration and Technology Development teams in Singapore, Dresden, Malta, and Burlington to gather technology and process‑specific content.

· Work closely with PDK development teams in Burlington, Santa Clara, and Singapore on coding, testing, and releasing PDKs.

· Standardize project sizing methodologies and manage resource tracking in Anaplan

· Lead operational activities, cross‑functional meetings, and communication across global teams.

· Provide regular program updates to senior leadership and Business Unit managers.

· Drive process improvements and strengthen collaboration across organizations, including Business Line teams and customers.

· Ensure effective teamwork with GlobalFoundries development teams worldwide.

Required Qualifications

· Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.

· At least 4 years of semiconductor industry experience, ideally in PDK development or testing.

· Minimum 3 years of program or project management experience.

· Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with global teams.

· Proficiency with databases, spreadsheets, and Microsoft Project.

· Experience in resource management, allocation, program sizing, and tracking.

· Fluent in written and spoken English

· Ability to travel up to 10%.

Preferred Qualifications 

· Additional hands-on experience in PDK development or testing.

· Demonstrated ability to work across organizations to improve processes and cross-team collaboration.
