Role Description:

The Commercial Operations team is looking to add a resource to help support the growth in scope and activities of the Commercial/Sales Team.  In this role you will support the Commercial Team’s overall day to day activities including data management, client due diligence responses, account mapping, and more.

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate experience of collaborative team work as well as independent project work. You will have the ability to work on a wide range of topics and concurrent projects whilst dealing with a diverse group of internal and external customers.  This is an important role which contributes to the overall success of our sales team.  We have a global reach and therefore attention to detail and a drive to achieve goals in a timely manner are required.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate on the management of our due diligence management tools to streamline and improve the efficiency of the RFI response process.  (Experience with Loopio or similar tools would be advantageous, but not essential as training will be provided)
  • Support the completion and tracking of multiple approval processes utilising all tools across the Google suite of applications.
  • Conduct thorough account profiling, gathering and analysing data to understand client needs and preferences. 
  • Manage internal product referral process 
  • Manage Third-party Sales Agent/Referral Agent program: on-boarding, papering, tracking and control
  • Administer the contract exception management process for both Commercial and Legal
  • Work with AMs to create and maintain organisational maps and other key data points for key accounts
  • Maintain templates and schedule for internal and external account information share-outs
  • Support Finance on billing and commission-related issues
  • Build and maintain successful relationships with sales and account management, legal team, other operations teams and other colleagues across the global firm.
  • Contribute to the planning and implementation of the improvements to team processes and participate in the planning of future projects and improvements to commercial operations.

 

Required Qualifications:

  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent (2:1) or above (any discipline, though a business or computing related degree would be valuable)
  • Experience in a sales support role would be beneficial, but not essential
  • Excellent IT skills, with a demonstrated ability and interest in mastering new software quickly.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Methodical and logical thinker with a confident, can-do attitude
