The role includes the following 

  • Communicate directly with Japanese corporate clients to promote treasury products (imminently FX products) in order to achieve targets. 

  • Distribute general and market knowledge to the Japanese client base in order to advise and inform clients of relevant information. 

  • Coordinate with internal departments and to work alongside Relationship Managers in order to promote MUFG business. 

  • Adhere to external regulatory frameworks and internal bank policy in respect to all processes and administration. 

  • Guide and structure the Treasury Department towards obtaining personal and group targets. 

  • Perform firm and stable operation with sufficient care in collaboration with related departments. 

In order to be successful in the role, you will need the following: 

  • Preferably higher education in a bank related topic, such as Bankfachwirt, acceptable is also an apprenticeship as a bank clerk or apprenticeship in another commercial area, if combined with relevant work experience in a bank. 

  • Several years of work experience in an area related to the market business. 

  • Excellent knowledge of financial processes 

  • Confident handling of MS Office products 

  • Business fluent in German and English language, Japanese language skills would be a plus.
