About Customer Solutions Growth Regions Division 

This team, alongside dealers, engages closely with customers to create, customize and adapt solutions to meet their needs by leveraging the extensive range of offerings available today across products and services, digital and technology, rental and used, and financing.  

The division is regionally focused on Africa, the Middle East, Eurasia, Asia (excluding Japan), and Latin America (LATAM) and organized into three functional areas: Customer Facing, Customer Solutions and Business Enablers.  

This role is part of the Customer Solutions team focused on designing and delivering solutions in the areas of product, services and technology. The role will: 

  • Support Field Teams, Dealers & Customer with deep Product and Services expertise. 
  • Focus Product, Services & Technology development on solving customer problems at the segment and site level. 
  • Drive proactive Technology Adoption and Product & Services health management leveraging data insights from connected field population. 

Role Definition: 

The Digital Marketing Consultant – AMEE is a regional role within the Customer Solutions & Engagement / Regional Marketing Customer Engagement team, responsible for enabling, designing, and operating end‑to‑end digital customer journeys across Africa, Middle East, Eurasia and Asia (AMEE).

This role focuses on digital enablement, customer experience (CX) design, campaign architecture, and marketing technology execution, ensuring that regional and dealer‑led digital activations are scalable, compliant, measurable, and aligned to Caterpillar’s value‑based solution messaging.

What You Will Do:

Digital Enablement & Customer Experience

  • Design and enable end‑to‑end digital customer journeys using persona and segment insights across AMEE markets.
  • Act as a CX Champion for the region, ensuring consistent, high‑quality digital experiences across channels.
  • Translate business and campaign objectives into structured digital journeys spanning email, web, QR, forms, and messaging platforms.

Campaign Architecture, Tracking & Governance

  • Build and maintain Salesforce campaign hierarchies, including creation and governance of UTM tracking for all digital tactics.
  • Ensure accurate attribution across regions, channels, and campaigns by applying enterprise campaign and UTM standards.
  • Partner with regional and dealer stakeholders to ensure campaigns are measurable from activation through reporting.

Marketing Cloud (SFMC) Execution

  • Support and coordinate Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) executions, including email builds, journeys, automations, and audience logic.
  • Enable and support regional nurture email programs, ensuring alignment with governance, configuration reviews, and data privacy requirements.
  • Work closely with global digital and platform teams to ensure correct setup and sustainable operations.

WhatsApp & Emerging Martech

  • Serve as Martech lead for WhatsApp pilots and activations, including QR‑based journeys and AI‑assisted experiences.
  • Support journey design for user‑initiated and outbound WhatsApp campaigns, aligned with consent, privacy, and CRM integration requirements.
  • Ensure WhatsApp journeys are fully tracked and integrated into Salesforce and reporting frameworks.

Stakeholder & Dealer Collaboration

  • Work closely with regional marketing teams, dealers, and internal stakeholders to enable consistent digital execution across AMEE.
  • Act as a connector between marketing, technology, agencies, and platform owners.
  • Provide guidance and support on digital best practices, journey setup, and measurement.

Reporting & Insights

  • Enable and leverage Power BI and Marketing Cloud dashboards to track campaign performance, database health, and subscriber sources.
  • Support regional reporting focused on engagement, data quality, and journey effectiveness.
  • Translate data into clear insights for regional marketing and leadership stakeholders.

What You Have: 

Required Skills & Experience

  • Experience in digital marketing activation across web, CRM‑driven journeys, and campaign tracking
  • Working knowledge of Salesforce Campaigns and UTM frameworks
  • Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud (Email Studio, Journey Builder, automations) is preferred
  • Strong understanding of digital customer journeys and CX design
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders across regions and functions

  • 5 years of marketing experience or above
