Job Description:

We’re looking for a Senior Contract Analyst to join our Procurement Operations team at MBPS. In this role, you are responsible for reviewing existing/proposed new contracts as part of an overall Vendor Risk Assessment Process to determine whether the contract meets Manulife’s standards and requirements for Information Security.  Performing an accurate assessment of a contract requires a fair amount of detailed preparation

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build, implement and maintain the legal contract database for the Company’s U.S. and international operations.
  • Coordinate resolution of residual contract issues following contract execution including documentation of risk issues associated with clauses that may not have met Manulife’s standards despite the best efforts of negotiations.
  • May lead other special projects for the Company in areas of experience and expertise.
  • Perform other duties or responsibilities as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

  • 2-3 years of Contracts Administration, Legal and/or Technical (i.e. Information Technology) background/experience
  • Bachelor's Degree holders are welcome to apply
  • Open to Hybrid setup
  • Willing to work on night shift

Minimum Skills to Hire/Must Haves:

  • Interpretation, drafting, and negotiation of contract terms and conditions.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to interact at all levels of an organization (internally and externally).
  • Ability to successfully handle a fast-paced work environment.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
  • Results oriented; working collaboratively and effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing business environment.
  • Proficiency with Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook
