Finance Reporting Senior Manager

EMEA Regulatory Reporting Citi Service Centre (CSC) in Budapest is a key part of the Finance function.  It is Citi’s pioneering centre on a global scale where local regulatory reporting professionals work together in a central location, to ensure consistent quality of local regulatory reporting across multiple jurisdictions and legal vehicles.

As part of the team of diverse and supportive professionals, Finance Reporting Senior Manager main tasks are concerned with team management, oversee the reporting process and system implementation and ensure compliance with the regulatory requirements and control framework.

In this position you will use and expand your experience and professional skills for the following responsibilities:

• Team management responsibility for a team of supervisors, analysts, including recruitment, goal setting and performance evaluation. Hire and retain talent;
• Oversee the production of reports, provide best practices and review compliance with the regulatory requirements;
• Participate drive reporting implementation of key projects like strategic ledger and Insight.
• Maintain and further develop key controls in line with our control framework.
• Drive efficiency and innovation projects on an ad hoc basis by reviewing and developing current processes using advanced digitalization tools. Deep involvement in new system / process implementations related to Regulatory reporting requirements;
• Main close cooperation with the Country Finance and provide support on audits, and regulatory inquiries.

The ideal candidate for this position preferably possesses the following qualifications and skills:

• Min.7 years of relevant experience.
• Prior experience in a regulatory reporting role is an advantage.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines or unexpected changes in expectations or requirements, manage multiple work streams in parallel.
• Communicate effectively with a wide range of people across different functions and varying levels of seniority
• Good understanding of Accounting & Finance principles and Financial Markets and products/Regulatory Reporting requirements
• Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge of Python / Knime is an advantage
• University/College degree in finance / accounting

• Languages: English (mandatory)
