Job Title: Technology Director

Role Summary

This is a full-time Accenture role embedded in the Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) global account. As a subject matter expert within the JLR Delivery Hub, the Technology Director plays a critical role in shaping and optimising the delivery technology stack across our end to end operations. The choices we make supports over 650+ resources globally in their efforts to deliver outstanding work for JLR. 

Beyond technical expertise, this role requires fostering key client relationships with senior client leads at JLR, ensuring their needs and expectations are consistently met and exceeded. The Technology Director serves as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders, understanding their strategic goals and aligning technology solutions to drive long-term value and success.

This position ensures our delivery platforms, asset systems, and workflows are continuously evolving to meet the needs of a complex, end-to-end service. Additionally, the role acts as a key contributor to transformation initiatives, providing governance leadership for digital tools and compliance, and ensuring the effective integration of innovative solutions across the JLR account.

Core Responsibilities

Leading an onshore and offshore team of up to 20 in supporting roles across core Technology areas covering DAM, Contente Transformation, Business Affairs, and Librarian team.

1. DAM Management & Optimisation

  • Manage the day-to-day health and performance of JLR’s Digital Asset Management system working closely with JLRs DAM provider and client team.
  • Ensure a prioritised and aligned workstack with the client, providing clarity on updates and delivery.
  • Act as an escalation point and support critical launch planning and mitigation.
  • Proactively recommend improvements to DAM features, workflows, and connected tools (e.g. GRMS and Adbuilder).
  • Lead training, onboarding, and user adoption of DAM platforms across teams.

2. Asset Management & Business Affairs Oversight

  • Oversee asset and business affairs teams, ensuring accurate rights usage and compliance.
  • Monitor and manage how assets move and flow across global markets and departments.
  • Provide strategic oversight to ensure assets are correctly licensed, tagged, stored, and accessible.
  • Partner with operations to ensure processes are aligned with evolving business needs.

3. Workflow Management

  • Own the development and optimisation of workflow platforms including Synops, Workfront, JIRA, and Smartsheets.
  • Maintain a live backlog of improvements aligned to service priorities.
  • Understand the operational needs across all global services and ensure workflows evolve accordingly.
  • Lead systems integration efforts, including forecasting, proofing, and reporting functions.

4. Transformation Workstreams

  • Act as a subject matter expert across DAM, workflow, and broader delivery technology.
  • Collaborate with other SMEs on content supply chain and MadTech integration.
  • Contribute to the Continuous Improvement Programme (CIP) with practical recommendations.
  • Play an active role in the review and enhancement of delivery tech across services.
  • Lead on digital tool governance and compliance, ensuring solutions meet JLR standards.
