About you and this role

This is an exciting opportunity from Dow fast growth and profitable Plastics Additives Business. This job is to help manage our impact modifiers and processing aids existing accounts as well as help develop new business opportunities in South China. In this position you are accountable for non-selling processes and as well as tasks inherent in the sales process. This includes generating leads and opportunities, managing sales analytics, be the first port of call for technical issues if possible, could be focal point for specific targeted market segment in APAC for leadership development. 

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and expand the account portfolio and Dow’s presence in the region.
  • Understand the customer needs to differentiate Dow and gain share market.
  • Search new product development opportunities within the market.
  • Maintain customer relationships and expand network to different levels within a customer’s organization.
  • Execute sales/marketing plan, delivering in volume and value. Develop the sales plan aligned to the marketing plan in coordination with other functions.
  • Develop sales forecasts in coordination with Production and Supply Chain.
  • Collects and utilizes market intelligence to shape sales plan. Get and analyze data to take decisions about new product development.
  • Leads and conducts negotiations and develops and implements price strategies aligned with business goals considering legal implications, customs regulations and Dow sales processes.
  • Collaborates with other functions and stakeholders to deliver excellent CX(Customer Experience) results.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or above
  • Fluency in English, strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Sales: Sell company’s products or service to customers to achieve the biggest profits.
