Special Access Program (SAP) Security Manager

Location: Joint Base Langley–Eustis, VA

Clearance: Active TS/SCI required Company: Leidos – Defense Sector

Leidos is seeking a seasoned SAP Security Manager to support a high‑visibility Military Intelligence program within Air Combat Command’s ISR enterprise. This role is ideal for a security professional who thrives in a fast‑paced SAP environment and is ready to make an immediate impact.

Job Summary

The SAP Security Manager oversees daily SAP physical and personnel security operations, implements security training, conducts self‑inspections, advises leadership on access matters, and maintains all required SOPs and documentation. This position also performs Top Secret Control Officer duties.

• Collaborate with Government personnel to review, track, and monitor CAP/SAP security clearance processing actions, ensuring timely and accurate adjudication.
• Interpret and implement CAP/SAP program security policies and provide guidance on nomination procedures and Wing‑level personnel security requirements.
• Manage security education and awareness programs, conduct classification reviews, and maintain document‑control processes in accordance with established SOPs.
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to sustain effective personnel, physical, technical, and industrial security programs.
• Conduct security inspections, maintain facility access control systems, and ensure proper handling, accountability, and transmission of classified materials.
• Support Government reporting requirements and participate in required CAP/SAP security training and compliance activities.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 10+ years of relevant experience, or Master’s degree and 8+ years (additional experience/certifications may substitute for degree).
• Active TS/SCI clearance.
• Ability to obtain and maintain SAP access.
• Experience with SAP Personnel Security, including JADE.
• Experience with SCI Personnel Security and DISS.

Preferred Qualifications

• 2+ years of SAP experience within the last 5 years.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with on‑site personnel and AF DCGS stakeholders.

Pay Range:

Pay Range $82,550.00 - $149,225.00
