Job Overview:
The Business Analyst I position will assist in the analysis, documentation, and management of business analytical needs throughout  Quality Assurance (QA). This position will adhere to established QA procedures to facilitate innovative solutions that meet the needs of the business and QA.

Essential Functions:

  • Follows IQVIA QA procedures

  • Assists with the creation of analytical datasets, prototypes and business design analyses in collaboration with the business operational area leads and or applicable QA staff dedicated to supporting other operational areas within IQVIA

  • Assists in the collaboration of trend analysis and conclusion making based on various sets of data derived from multiple sources.

  • Assists or independently works with requestors to establish hypothetical or analytical questions, collection of data, derivation of analysis, and effective communication of conclusions

  • Collaborates with Global IT Solutions functional groups by adhering to established processes to ensure that business requirements are delivered through successful project implementation of optimal, cost-effective solutions

  • Assists in the gathering of initial Business Case requirements & other pre-project activities (e.g., high-level requirements, project scope, objectives)

  • Assists with and manages monthly, quarterly and annual scorecards and metric outputs.

  • Maintains the electronic quality management system (eQMS) and provides support in relation to the audit lifecycle.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree Bachelor's Degree  preferred.

  • 1 year of business experience. Working towards or holding applicable industry accreditation or certification. Equivalent combination of education, training and experience.

  • Good technical and business writing skills.

  • Knowledge of best practices for process implementation and management.

  • Strong interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to use  business analytics/intelligence tools as a medium to publish analyses.

  • Ability to use data management tools, such as electronic quality management systems (eQMS) to extract datasets for use in analyses.

  • Ability to use Excel to organize data for analyses and distribution.

  • Negotiation and customer management skills.

  • Ability to communicate analytical terms, outputs, and conclusions to non-technical audiences, senior management, and fellow QA department peers.

  • Working knowledge of ServiceNow support tool.

  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with coworkers, managers and clients.

The potential base pay range for this role, when annualized, is $51,500.00 - $85,800.00. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time). Dependent on the position offered, incentive plans, bonuses, and/or other forms of compensation may be offered, in addition to a range of health and welfare and/or other benefits.
