About the role:

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Business Development Manager to drive growth and expansion in the Central and Eastern Europe (CEE) region. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in business development, with a focus on the Banking, Fintech, and Corporate sectors. Your mission is to cultivate the CEE market (including Romania, Moldova, Czech Republic, Slovakia and Hungary) by implementing a strategic approach to sales and efficiently coordinating LexisNexis Risk Solutions resources. Some travel may be required to support customers and attend industry events.
 

Responsibilities:

  • Sales Cycle Management: Managing the entire sales cycle, from pre-sales activities through to post-sales support, ensuring the successful closure of complex deals.
  • Identifying target segments and creating tailored sales strategies to address specific regional challenges and opportunities.
  • Understanding your customers’ goals and objectives, business requirements and strategic goals, and to advise them on how LNRS can help.
  • Conducting market research to understand regional trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape.
  • Creating a high-quality pipeline and ensuring that all pipeline activity is accurately documented in the CRM system.
  • Working closely with LNRS SMEs, facilitating regular communication and collaboration among stakeholders to align goals and share insights.
  • Putting the customer first providing timely response and exceptional levels of service to all enquiries.
  • Prioritizing face to face engagement
  • Driving market initiatives, supporting the market planning, marketing and product development teams in order to maximize new business opportunities within the geographic/industry sector markets
     

Experience / Qualifications:

  • Fluent English, Romanian or Czech is a must, other languages will be a bonus.
  • Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related role, preferably within the Banking, Fintech, or Corporate sectors.
  • Possess excellent communication, networking, and negotiation skills.
  • Be able to effectively manage time and prioritize tasks.
  • Develop an in depth understanding of LexisNexis Risk Solution products and solutions.
  • Be proficient in using CRM software and other sales-related tools.
