Explore and embrace your role:

As  the IT Operations Manager, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the technological integrity and capabilities of the organization; your work will be crucial to the success of Envista Forensics. You will be responsible for building key relationships with internal and external customers, ensuring compliance with accounting policies and procedures, and driving department efficiencies.

  • Participates in the formulation of policy for the department, researching and recommending effective policies.
  • Recruits, develops, coaches and leads IT Operations Desk team members.
  • Monitors and ensures effective ongoing IT operations including (but not limited to) new hire activities, equipment issuance, support work and terminations.
  • Develops, implements, and monitors day-to-day operational systems and processes to provide visibility into the goals, progress, and obstacles of key initiatives.
  • Draws on relationships with department heads, external partners, and vendors to make decisions regarding operational activity and strategic goals.
  • Plans, monitors, and analyzes key metrics for day-to-day operations to ensure efficient and timely completion of tasks.
  • Identifies and implements business process improvements in areas of responsibility.

Essential expertise to ensure success:

  • 5+ years’ experience with technology related customer support roles
  • 3+ years’ experience with managing or leading customer support or response teams
  • Bachelor’s degree (BS, BA) in Computer Science, similar field, or equivalent experience.
  • Direct experience in maturing a support organizing; designing, implementing and evolving processes, procedures and other frameworks
  • Working knowledge of Help Desk / Service Desk Management concepts and principles
  • Working knowledge of troubleshooting concepts and principles
  • Working knowledge of ITIL concepts and principles

Elevated expertise to excel/stand-out:

  • Experience in any of the following technologies and platforms:
    • Microsoft 365 Stack
    • Various client VPN clients
    • ServiceNow / Rezolve.AI
    • Microsoft InTune / AutoPilot
  • Direct experience with the creation and/or ongoing maintenance of a Knowledge Base
