We are seeking a passionate Operations and Sustainment Engineers to help manage critical Intelligence solution for our NGA customers as part of the SAFFIRE program. You will be a critical element, working closely with users, our user support team and CACI’s development teams, to ensure that systems supporting the national security of our country remain available to their user base.

As our Operations and Sustainment Systems Engineer you will have the opportunity to:

  • Work in a team environment to solve complex problems, including close collaboration with development engineers to properly diagnose and fix complicated technical issues
  • Respond to incoming chats, emails, or tickets in a timely and professional manner
  • Record and track all interactions, issues, and resolutions using Atlassian and Service Now software and tools
  • Communicate effectively with users to gather information and determine the root cause of issues or problems
  • Manage existing cloud systems
  • System patching and minor version upgrades
  • Perform software deployments, system configuration, system tuning, and system monitoring and troubleshooting
  • Manage and enforce identity access management (IAM) policies
  • Thrive in a fast-moving environment and enjoy learning new technologies and overcoming new challenges
  • Be able to support deployments or operations outside normal duty hours
  • Be able to support an on-call rotation

You’ll Bring These Qualifications:

  • Active TS/SCI with a current polygraph REQUIRED
  • Information Assurance/DoD 8570 certification (Security+) REQUIRED
  • Typically requires bachelor's degree. In lieu of degree, relevant experience may be substituted
  • A minimum 5 years of related experience
  • Working knowledge of Linux
  • Familiarity with various AWS technologies (EC2, S3, IAM, CloudFront, CloudWatch, etc.)
  • Familiarity with container orchestration frameworks such as Docker and Kubernetes
  • Familiarity with Elastic
  • Experience with security hardening
  • Experience with various geospatial or intelligence analyst applications

These Qualifications Would Be Nice to Have:

  • Experience with Agile Methodologies including SAFe
  • AWS Certification
  • Continuous Monitoring Solutions – Elastic, Grafana, Prometheus, etc.
  • Rancher
  • Argo CD
  • Keycloak

Pay Range: There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:

$74,600-$156,700
