Accenture’s Financial Services Strategy & Consulting practice is looking for a Manager who will be a key contributor to the further expansion of our Finnish & Nordic presence in the Banking industry.

In this role within Financial Services unit, you will bring your industry expertise while operating at the intersection of business and technology, and work together with leading banking institutions in the Nordics to shape their strategy and business.

Description of Role and Practice

You will be responsible for selling and delivering successful consulting engagements addressing our clients’ business challenges, delivering lasting and distinctive outcomes and value in disciplines such as:

• Operating Model transformation

• Digital, Data & AI Transformation

• Emerging Products and Services

• Core & business transformation

• Risk & Regulatory compliance

• Cost efficiency

• Enterprise agility

 Moreover you will

• Act as an entrepreneur; shape, sell, lead & deliver strategy and consulting services to our Banking clients, both as stand-alone engagements and as part of larger transformations including technology, experience and business operations

• Engage independently & proactively with leadership at relevant clients to build relations, originate work and deliver impact

• Be part of our Nordic Financial Services team, and contribute to developing the practice

• Work in multi-disciplinary multi-cultural teams, being a manager, practitioner and business operator.

• Develop and manage high-performing teams, leading by example, actively mentoring others and contributing to performance management and recruitment activities

Job requirements

• Over 6 years of work experience within Consulting activities in Financial Services

• Demonstrated experience in Banking industry market as a consulting practitioner

• Demonstrated experience originating & selling consulting services

• Stakeholder Relationship Management: Exceptional internal/client handling skills and a track record of successful solutions.

• Leadership and Project Management: Skilled in leading teams and managing complex projects.

• Understanding of topical business and technological trends, and how they may impact banks, and how banks should respond. Having the mindset and eye to understand how Accenture can support the customers, and co-operate with colleagues and experts across various service towers to shape the best possible solutions to our customers

• Understanding of the core technology platforms in use in the industry is meriting

• Master’s degree with major in Economics or similar

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and preferably also in Finnish

• Able to travel as needed in Nordics

• Proficiency working in a dynamic and multicultural environment and balancing multiple goals and priorities
