The Senior UX Designer is responsible for the end-to-end experience of a product, a project, or a feature. They will partner and collaborate with cross-functional product teams internationally, to create joyful user experiences for the challenges faced by the Automotive industry.
 

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Conducts advanced UX design activities and collaborates closely with cross-functional teams

  • Designs and develops comprehensive design solutions to enhance user experience

  • Collaborates closely with team members and cross-functional teams to ensure cohesive design efforts

  • Works towards achieving set design goals and objectives, providing high-quality solutions

  • Analyzes design needs and presents solutions that inform product development and strategy

  • Manages multiple design projects, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery of solutions

  • Shares knowledge and expertise with team members to support their professional development

  • Applies industry best practices and innovative approaches in conducting design work

  • Advocates for user-centered design in design and product development activities

  • Conducts design activities ethically and in compliance with applicable regulations and standards

  • Reports on design findings and project progress to the design team and stakeholders

  • Works to align design efforts with business objectives and product strategy

  • Applies and advocates for innovative design methodologies and best practices

  • Documents design processes, solutions, and insights for organizational learning

  • Stays informed about industry trends and applies new technologies in design activities

  • Works with stakeholders to communicate the importance and findings of UX design

  • Shares design solutions with stakeholders in a clear and understandable manner

  • Contributes design insights to strategic planning and team meetings

  • Offers guidance and support to team members to improve their design skills

  • Engages in and promotes continuous learning and improvement within the design team

  • Manages resources efficiently for assigned design projects

Preferred Qualifications & Attributes:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent professional experience

  • 5+ years of experience in UX design

  • Extensive experience in conducting UX design and delivering high-quality solutions

  • Experienced in applying industry best practices and innovative approaches in UX design

  • Ability to connect design solutions to business goals and measure their impact

  • Communicate design solutions to stakeholders to build empathy for user needs

  • Experience working with stakeholders to deliver design solutions that drive business value

  • Experience conducting design work in environments characterized by ambiguity and change

  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams including engineering, marketing, and sales

  • Portfolio demonstrating the ability to generate effective design solutions, with proficiency in narrating the design’s development and value

  • Ability to share knowledge and provide guidance to improve team design capabilities

  • Strong project management and mentorship skills

  • Good communication skills for sharing design insights with the team and stakeholders

  • Proven ability to conduct design projects efficiently in a dynamic setting

  • Proficient in analyzing design data and generating actionable insights

Compensation: $115,000 - $145,000

CDK Global is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. Compensation packages are based on several factors, including but not limited to skills, experience, certifications, and work location.  The total compensation package for this position may also include annual performance bonus, benefits and/or other applicable incentive compensation plans.We offer Medical, dental, and vision benefits in addition to:
