Coordinator, Housing Assistance – Heredia, Costa Rica

A day in the life of a Housing Assistance Coordinator 

 

The Housing Assistance Coordinator applies knowledge and understanding of HCV terminology, HCV Eligibility Determination, Analyzing and Adjusting Ledgers, Contacting Housing Authorities, Schedule Inspections, also establish internal communication with internal departments to ensure that the Work Orders and Inspections are successfully completed. Communicates in a timely and efficient manner with Area Managers, Technicians and internal departments.  Frequent communication with residents is a daily part of the duties The Housing Assistance Coordinator will be regularly supervised and will report to the Property Control Supervisor.   

 

  • Completes Change of Ownership documents 

  • Completes Request for Tenancy Approvals 

  • Reviews Rent Change Notices (RCNs). 

  • Outbound and Inbound calls based on business needs. 

  • Analyze and Adjust tenant Ledger. 

  • Communicates with Technicians and Area managers to coordinate Work Order completion. 

  • Coordinates deposit collection  

  • Communicates with Housing Authorities to ensure all the information required is entered on the company systems as well as sending required forms and documents. 

  • Other duties as needed or required.

What you’ll need to have 

  • High School Graduate 

  • Proficient in Microsoft 365 tools 

  • Ability to perform repetitive work in a diligent manner. 

  • Detailed oriented and analytic skills 

  • Strong English written and verbal skills. 

  • Salesforce knowledge preferred. 

  • Yardi Experience preferred but not required.
